A New York 16-year-old faces assault charges in an alleged snowball attack on postal carrier Russell Bumpurs in Brooklyn   Prosecutors said that the snowball assault later turned violent, causing injuries to Bumpurs.  The court issued an order of protection on Bumpurs' behalf, and Ward was released into his mother's custody.
